Client Liaison Officer

Phoenix Marine Manufacturing is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Client Liaison Officer to do aftersales support at a senior level on behalf of the company. This role is crucial in developing our aftersales department, ensuring our clients receive unparalleled support and service. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of boat building industry preferably with extensive sailing experience and a passion for the yachting industry who can be actively involved in the commissioning of our luxury bespoke catamarans.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a client-facing role within the luxury yacht or marine industry.
    (Super Yacht experience advantageous)
  • Proven experience in aftersales support and department development.
  • Strong understanding of boat building processes and sailing.
  • Project Management experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and oversee commissioning processes.
  • Skilled in Microsoft suite: Excel/MS Word

Responsibilities and Key Performance Areas

  1. Client Liaison:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for our client’s post-purchase, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or queries.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with client to foster loyalty and repeat business.
    • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure their needs are met and to gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  2. Aftersales Support:
    • Develop and implement an aftersales support strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and goals.
    • Establish and manage the aftersales department, including preparing of quotes, training, and supervising staff.
    • Handle warranty claims and service requests promptly and efficiently.
    • Coordinate with the technical team to resolve any technical issues or repairs needed on the catamarans.
  3. Commissioning of Yachts:
    • Participate actively in the commissioning process of luxury catamarans in cooperation with the QC manager, ensuring that all systems are operational and meet quality standards.
    • Collaborate with the production and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery and handover of yachts to clients.
    • Provide client with detailed feedback report and contingencies.
  4. Boat Building and Sailing Expertise:
    • Utilize your knowledge of boat building and sailing to assist clients with technical questions and provide expert advice.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the boating industry to ensure our products and services remain competitive.
    • Assist in the design and development of new features or improvements to enhance the client experience.
